Scholar Legacy is a service of Blue Market, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company, at 1503 Santa Rosa Road, Suite 120, Richmond, VA 23229. This policy explains what we collect, who helps us process it, how it is protected, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed.

The short version. We collect what we need to build your site and nothing else. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we never see your card number. The materials you send are used to build your site, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
We count page views through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites. We see totals, not individuals.
Your answers stay in your own browser. We never see them unless you ask us to email you your results. If you do, we receive your email address, your score, and which checks you ticked, so we can send the results you asked for. The box offering occasional notes from us is unticked unless you tick it.
The conversation is held in your browser and is not stored on our side. We count requests by network address to stop abuse, and nothing else.
To build your site we collect your name, email address, institution, the links you choose to share, your CV, a photograph, and any notes you add. The intake form asks you to confirm that you have the right to share these materials and that we may use them to build your site.
Payments run through Stripe's own secure checkout. Scholar Legacy never receives or stores your card number. We keep a record that a payment was made, for what, and when.
We use a small number of established service providers. They may process your information only to provide their service to us.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising. If we are ever required to disclose something by law, we will tell you unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
Write to contact@scholarlegacy.com from the address you gave us and you can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold, correct anything wrong, delete your materials, or stop emailing you. Every email we send about news or offers includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects emails about your own order.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites. The checklist stores your answers in your own browser so they survive a refresh, and that stays on your device. Because we do not track visitors across sites, there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off, and we do not respond to those signals.
Wherever you live, you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and tell us to stop emailing you.
Virginia residents have these rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know the categories of information we hold and to have it deleted. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal effects. Exercising any of these rights never means worse service.
Write to contact@scholarlegacy.com from the address you gave us, and we will confirm and act within the time the law allows. If we decline a request, we will say why, and you may appeal by writing to admin@bluemarketpro.com. If an appeal is refused you may contact the Virginia Attorney General.
The protections above are real, and we take them seriously. No service can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your materials, we would tell you and tell you what we were doing about it.
This service is meant for professional adults, and is not directed at children. Our site is operated from the United States. If you write to us from elsewhere, your information will be handled in the United States. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be sent to scholars we are currently working with.
